From visiting the showroom to the measuring to the design, we felt were in completely safe hands with Halifax Kitchen & Bedroom Company. Brad and his team understood what we wanted (and what we didn’t want) and planned a kitchen that lived up to the vision we had in our heads – with some added extras which we wouldn’t have thought of, but hugely enhance our new kitchen. There were also no hard sells, just a genuine desire to get the best kitchen for us. The management of the fit of the kitchen was similarly impressive. There is no doubting that the fact they employ people – and people who have been with the company for a long time – means they really care about what they do. They also go the extra mile to deliver, they’re not trying to interpret the plans of a designer they’ve never met and don’t know, they’re working together as a team. In a previous house, when we were naïve kitchen buyers, we went with one of the big national firms. After a design that didn’t work when the fitter turned up, the wrong cupboards being delivered and numerous other problems, we decided not to make that same mistake again. We’d encourage anyone else not to either. You’d never describe living through having a new kitchen fitted as painless, but Brad, Liam and the team have made it as smooth and painless as it is possible for it to be. Always happy to answer what may have seemed the silliest questions, always keeping us updated with what was happening and always delivering over and above what we expected. We can’t recommend Halifax Kitchens enough and thank all the team for their work.

Were lucky enough to get our kitchen finished the week before the Covid-19 lockdown & are absolutely delighted with it! Had done quite a lot of research before even starting to visit showrooms, so had a good idea of what I wanted & Halifax Kitchen Company was my first port of call due to recommendations received. Brad, the the owner listened to what I had in mind & showed us around, making suggestions on what would be suitable, resulting in us arranging for him to call round & measure up to give us a quote. I wanted to completely change the layout of the room & had set my heart on having an island, but Brad advised that this wasn’t really feasible with the other things I wanted to do & suggested that we had a peninsula/breakfast bar instead, which I now appreciate was absolutely the right thing to do. We did look around elsewhere & got a quote from a large national chain but, what ultimately made us decide to go with Halifax Kitchen Co was that unlike anyone else, Brad was willing to engage & co-ordinate not just a fitter, but electricians, plasterers, plumbers & tilers, so we knew that his price included all necessary work & that he would arrange for them all to be there when required, which was really important to me. The work started when promised & went very smoothly. All the tradesmen were great, especially Paul the fitter who did an amazing job. Brad kept calling in to check all was going OK & was happy to accommodate my late request to remove the doors to the conservatory & make this into a dining room with a new radiator & the same flooring as the kitchen. There were other smaller things I asked for at the last minute, but Brad took it all in his stride & sorted them out for me. I could not be more pleased with how it has all turned out & cannot recommend Halifax Kitchen Co highly enough for the design, quality of the products, workmanship & overall service we received.

We are in a new home and just had fitted wardrobes in main bedroom and a new oak chopping block to finish the kitchen properly. Delighted with both. A special mention to the 2 fitters. Firstly Lee who worked so hard over 2 days on his own to fit the wardrobes and to Paul who adjusted the plan and did a skillful job to fit the oak block into an awkward space. We had our kitchen completely renovated with this company. A complete new kitchen with rewiring and new floor. Bradley designed a completely new kitchen, which used the space far more efficiently and my disabled husband finds it far easier to use. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and cleaned up after themselves. The fitter was especially good checking we were happy with what he was doing and making sure everything was perfect. The price was also very fair. We spoke to a few companies before these and found they were the only ones that listened to what we wanted and did not try to push us into anything we didn’t want. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We can’t thank them enough.

My parents had a wardrobe fitted in the back room yesterday. The whole experience has been so relaxed, professional and friendly. From measuring up, to dropping the bits off and the fitting.
